Right To Information

GMDC is a public authority under the Right to Information Act, 2005. Citizens may seek information on mining, energy, tenders, CSR, and administration held by the Corporation.

Applications are received at Khanij Bhavan, Ahmedabad, and answered by the Public Information Officer within the statutory period — normally 30 days. Appeals lie with the First Appellate Authority of GMDC.

How To Apply

  1. Use the GMDC RTI application form (or a written request with applicant name and contact).
  2. Address it to the Public Information Officer, GMDC, Khanij Bhavan, Ashram Road, Ahmedabad – 380009.
  3. Pay the prescribed fee as per the RTI Rules (except where fee is exempt).
  4. A reply is due in 30 days (48 hours where life or liberty is involved). First appeal may be filed if you are not satisfied.

Receives RTI applications and provides information held by GMDC, subject to exemptions under the Act.
